I present here a selection of sometimes tenditious articles and items - Caveat Lector - about Myatt which make various allegations about him, or which repeat - or in some cases which try to justify - various rumors regarding him, and his past and involvements, which rumors and allegations have been in circulation for some years. Many of these allegations and rumors concern his alleged involvement in the Occult, while others allege that he is or may be some kind of MI5 operative.

It should be noted, in the interests of fairness, that Myatt has always denied involvement with the Occult - and challenged anyone to produce any evidence - and has stated that allegations of him being some kind of covert State operative are "the sort of thing the dishonourable Zionists of Searchlies specialize in to discredit someone; at best silly assumptions, and at worst sheer fantasy..."

"In such matters, the principle of personal honour applies, for an honourable person would either ignore such disinformation, rumours and allegations, or seek to ask, in person and in private, the individual who is the subject of such things. This is the honourable thing to do, the gentlemanly and lady-like thing to do, and those who do not do this - for whatever reason and from whatever motive - are acting dishonourably... Unfortunately, in these un-numinous times we live in and endure, people of manners - those who behave in a gentlemanly and lady-like way - are a minority...

Thus, in many ways, such rumours and allegations about me are a good test of a person's character: of their honour and their loyalty..."

In a more recent comment on such matters (2011), Myatt writes:

" Why have such rumours and allegations persisted? Perhaps there are two simple reasons. First, because some people, lacking empathy, have had and probably still do have a vested interest, or motive - political or otherwise - in trying to discredit me, because to them I am not an individual but rather only a nazi or a fanatic or some weirdo or whatever; second, because some people are just dishonourable or irrational by nature, and so make instinctive judgements based on their own prejudices, and/or they believe what they hear or read without ever bothering to do their own research, and/or they lack the ability to rationally consider the matters for themselves and certainly lack the personal character to give someone the benefit of the doubt.

Thus, in some ways, the persistence of such rumours and allegations may well be a tribute to our current human condition and our current societies. Of how so many people are still in thrall to abstractions and still prejudiced - and so judge others on the basis of such abstractions or on some instinctive ignoble prejudice - and of how current societies seem to militate against, and even to discourage, with their impersonal means of communications and their Media, that direct and personal knowing which is the basis for all ethical judgement." In addition - and again in the interests of fairness - it should be understood that Myatt now personally, as also evident in his mystical Numinous Way philosophy, rejects as unethical the judgment of human beings according to perceived ethnic identity, with Myatt writing in 2010 that:

" It is the compassionate way of The Philosophy of The Numen that represents my views, now; views, perspectives, obtained by the pathei-mathos of my past forty years. My experiences, my reflexion upon those experiences, have therefore changed me, as a person, and taken me far beyond, far away from, National-Socialism and even from what I termed, over a decade ago, the ethical NS of Reichsfolk, since as I mentioned this is somewhat immoral because still based on what I have termed the immoral, un-empathic, abstractions, of race and of the folk."
